Outputs
- Design, implement, support and advice the Microsoft Windows environment (Windows, and hybrid)
- as well act as a specialist for Windows based infrastructure and services specialist.
- Deploy and configure servers (cloud, physical etc) as well as overseeing DNS, Active directory and identity management integration.
- Responsible for security controls, patch management, disaster recovery solutions.
- Virtualization platforms optimization - VMware and Hyper V including management of hybrid integrations and cloud-based workloads.
- Engage in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, infrastructure standards enforcement, mentoring, infrastructure future proofing exercises.
Experience, Experience and Competencies
- IT Diploma
- MCSA/MCSE, Azure Certifications or similar
- ITIL Foundation, A+
- Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux systems.
- Enterprise virtualization platforms experience – Hyper V, VMware etc.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud models, scripting, logging, cloud platforms (Azure) SIEM, networking protocols, server environments integration etc
- Server engineering/admin (enterprise level systems), enterprise IT environments, and/or managed services experience.
- Driver’s license.
